This incense holder from a.278 is made with high-purity tin, a soft metal that can be bent freely. It is cast by a long-established manufacturer in Japan using a process in which molten metal is poured into a mold and allowed to harden. Typically, the surface is polished or colored to create a finishing touch. However, a.278 has deliberately avoided these finishing touches to preserve the texture of the patterns (flows) that form when the molten metal flows and hardens, resulting in each holder having a different pattern.

DIRECTIONS
Bend* and arrange this product in any way you like, then add your favorite incense and enjoy.
Stick-type incense can be inserted into the holes in the board.
Work with both regular-size Japanese incense and bamboo incense.
Since incense ash may spread around the holder, please use it within the range that can be caught.
*Although the tin can be bent freely, please be careful when handling it, as it is metal and will break due to metal fatigue if it is bent too hard in the same place repeatedly.
