Nine Orchard Candle

Takamichi’s debut candle captures the signature scent he created for Nine Orchard, the boutique hotel inside the historic Jarmulowsky Bank building. Like the hotel itself, the fragrance evolves with its surroundings: it opens with bright bergamot and neroli, drifts into seawater and orange flower, and finally settles into cedar, musk, and amber. Hand-poured with plant-based wax and a cotton wick, it’s housed in minimalist, mid-century inspired packaging.

Founded by New York hairstylist Takamichi Saeki, the Takamichi line was born out of twenty years of hands-on salon experience. Saeki wanted to cut through cluttered routines and offer well-crafted essentials that deliver results and simplify daily rituals. Each product features thoughtfully sourced ingredients—camellia oil from Ōshima Island, wildcrafted plant extracts captured through ultrasound extraction, plant-based waxes, and cotton wicks—and embodies a fresh, green signature scent reminiscent of the Nine Orchard Hotel.
