SWAND® is made of recycled stainless steel. Hand shaped and polished, creating unique subtle differences before finishing treatments are applied. Variances make each one SWAND-of-a-kind.
Blackening from soot: Wipe with a soft cloth to remove smokey residue. For stubborn dark marks, apply a paste of baking soda + water, and wipe clean with soft cloth or paper towel.
Wax buildup: Use hot water to soften and melt wax that has collected on your dome snuffer. Works well to briefly submerge the dome into a shallow dish/ramekin, away from drains. Wipe clean with soft cloth or paper towel.
Wax rescue: While the candle is still burning, allow the flame to gently melt the wax back into the candle, from any areas where it has collected onto your SWAND. Wipe clean.
