The story behind Rebel belongs to Maria Quitéria — a Brazilian soldier, born in Bahia in 1792, who enlisted in the army disguised as a man to fight for her country's independence. Exceptional in skill and impossible to ignore, she was eventually promoted regardless. Nomad Noé builds the fragrance around her world: the gardens of Bahia, the white flowers that grow there, and the incense smoke of Candomblé rituals threading through it all.
The opening is luminous — neroli, gardenia, bergamot, and tangerine, the kind of brightness that reads like sunshine on warm stone rather than a perfume counter. The heart unfolds into orange blossom, jasmine, and magnolia, full and white-floral without tipping into sweetness. The base grounds everything with tuberose, incense, and lily of the valley — a trail of smoke that gives the composition its quiet defiance. Radiant on the surface, with something deeper underneath.
