Au Pied du Rosier is where Marie Jeanne’s refined perfumery meets urban streetwear. Inspired by the thrill of unboxing new sneakers, founder Georges Maubert and artist Dai Dai Tran collaborated with perfumer Karine Vinchon Spehner to craft a fragrance built around a unique “new sneaker” accord. This avant‑garde accord is balanced with Centifolia rose and bright mandarin, while saffron adds warmth. Oud, patchouli, sandalwood, labdanum and smoky amber in the base give the perfume longevity and an innovative contrast of tradition and modernity.

THE BRAND
Marie Jeanne uses natural, cruelty-free essences in all its products. Working with Robertet perfumers, Mitsfounder George Maubert—a member of a family that has been very influential in the perfume industry since 1850—focuses on creating stripped-down, elegant compositions emphasizing the native variety of its ingredients.
Robertet is a bit like De Beers of the fine natural perfume materials - matières premières; for decades, they have been dealing with the finest, purest, and most precious stuff a perfumer can dream of.
