THE BRAND
AKT London is a British skincare label founded by four West End theater performers who trained sixteen years in ballet before turning to product development. The brand's original product — the Deodorant Balm — was developed out of necessity: no natural deodorant on the market could survive the demands of live performance. So they made their own. The entire brand vocabulary is borrowed from the theater: performance, the cast, the encore, born to perform. Every product is developed with performers in mind but designed for anyone who wants their daily routine to hold up under real conditions.
