A complete hair care system designed to cleanse gently, restore balance to the scalp, and improve softness, strength, and shine. The set pairs the balancing Shampoo ICHI.1 with the nourishing Conditioner ICHI.1, working together to maintain hair integrity without heaviness.
Both formulas are enriched with camellia oil, pressed from seeds native to Japan’s Ōshima Island, delivering essential fatty acids that help strengthen hair and restore natural luster. Sage leaf water and plant-derived lipids support scalp health while improving manageability and resilience.
Lightly fragranced with the signature Takamichi composition, originally developed for Nine Orchard and experienced throughout the hotel’s guest rooms and spaces. Fresh, green, and quietly persistent.
Housed in generously sized recycled bottles. Designed for dailiness.

THE BRAND
Takamichi is the in-house scent house founded by New York hairstylist Takamichi Saeki. Developed through decades of hands-on work with clients, each composition begins as an atmosphere—translated into candle, room spray, or body and hair care depending on its natural form.
One of the original fragrances was created in collaboration with Nine Orchard, where it lives throughout the hotel. Others exist only as candlelight. Together, they form a growing olfactive library designed to bring clarity, calm, and quiet presence to both space and self.
Takamichi has been featured in The New York Times and Cool Hunting.
