Handcrafted in Martha Duncan’s Edinburgh studio, these petite stoneware dishes are a charming balance of form and function. Each one is hand-built, kiln-fired to a warm, earthy finish, and hand-painted with a playful lemon motif that makes every dish uniquely yours. Perfectly sized for corralling rings, holding a bar of soap, or sprinkling spices, they vary slightly in diameter—just like in the photos—and bring a sunny splash of color to any countertop. Irresistibly cheerful and utterly practical, they’re simply too cute to resist.

THE BRAND
Martha Duncan Studio was founded in 2020 by Edinburgh-based designer Martha Duncan, a Glasgow School of Art architecture graduate who turned her passion for color, illustration, and design into ceramics, printmaking, and apparel. Her whimsical motifs spring from playful observations—daft thoughts, overheard conversations, and song lyrics—always delivered with a mischievous wink. Each ceramic is wheel-thrown or hand-built, kiln-fired, and finished with vivid, food-safe colors, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Every object is made to be both functional and joyful, created to bring daily delight.
