Each one is hand-built, kiln-fired to a warm, earthy finish, and hand-painted with a charming apple motif that makes every dish uniquely yours. Perfectly sized for corralling rings, holding a bar of soap, or serving up spices, they vary slightly in diameter—just like the photos—and add a crisp splash of color to any countertop. THE BRAND
Martha Duncan Studio was founded in 2020 by Edinburgh-based designer Martha Duncan, a Glasgow School of Art architecture graduate who turned her love of color, illustration, and design into ceramics, printmaking, and apparel. Her playful motifs draw inspiration from everyday life—daft thoughts, overheard conversations, and song lyrics—always delivered with a mischievous wink. Each ceramic is hand-built or wheel-thrown, kiln-fired, and finished with vivid, food-safe colors, ensuring no two are alike. Designed to be both functional and joyful, Martha’s pieces bring originality and delight into the everyday.
