Dogabi Incense Burner No. 303 is a functional sculpture that captures the mischievous spirit of Korea’s legendary goblins. Hand‑thrown and carved by ceramist Hyung Jun Kim at THR‑Ceramic Studio in South Korea, this one‑of‑a‑kind burner is individually numbered and signed. The expressive face—carved from white porcelain and accented with gleaming gold—recalls the playful yet fearsome Dogabi. Its versatile design allows you to burn a cone or stick incense (a removable holder is included), or place a tealight candle inside to enjoy a flickering glow. When not in use, its mythic visage and richly glazed surface make it a striking object on any table or shelf.
WHY IT'S SPECIAL
-
Unique & Collectible: Each Dogabi incense burner is an individual work of art, numbered and produced only once; No. 303 is the only one in existence. Hyung Jun Kim’s one‑of‑a‑kind functional sculptures are designed to become collectible pieces.
-
Art Meets Function: The carved goblin face is whimsical yet authoritative, capturing the Dogabi’s dual nature of humor and protection. The pierced openings allow smoke to drift and light to glow, turning fragrance rituals into a theatrical experience.
-
Mythical Inspiration: In Korean folklore, Dogabi (also known as dokkaebi) are guardians of homes and bringers of abundance. Owning this burner invites that folklore into your space.
-
Exclusive Partnership: Takamichi Beauty Room works directly with THR‑Ceramic to bring these rare pieces to New York. Once No. 303 is sold, it’s gone for good.
