The hand-sized Cocolan lantern brings traditional Japanese craft into modern life. Inspired by the daruma doll—long seen as a symbol of perseverance and good luck—the lantern shares the same playful quality: when tipped over, it pops back up again. Beyond its symbolism, it functions as a lamp, glowing softly through handmade Hidaka Washi paper and accented with hand-painted facial details. Each piece is completed with a beechwood base, blending heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design.
