A scented candle in oud and spirits, housed in a matte porcelain vessel that glows from within when lit.
The inspiration is Hollywood, New Year's Eve, 1932 — the tail end of Prohibition, when the speakeasies off Sunset drew everyone in, and self-expression was the only dress code. Nomad Noé translates that atmosphere into scent: something dark, unhurried, and charged.
Wild opens with whiskey and olibanum — resinous and faintly sweet, with a citrus edge that keeps it from turning heavy. The heart moves into leather, clove, and amber, deepening slowly. The base settles into Indonesian patchouli, cedarwood, and oud — rich, grounding, and long on the skin. A candle that fills the room without announcing itself, and lingers after it's out.
The vessel is a study in restraint: matte black and white porcelain, architectural and clean, with a lid that seals the scent between burns. Designed in New York City, hand-poured in small batches in the US using fragrance oils crafted in Grasse, France.
WHY IT'S SPECIAL
- Oud and spirits composition: whiskey, leather, clove, and precious Indonesian oud create depth without sweetness.
- Inspired by 1930s Hollywood: the atmosphere of a Prohibition-era speakeasy — intimate, atmospheric, a little dangerous.
- Matte porcelain vessel: black and white, with a glowing quality when lit — the kind of object that stays on the shelf long after the candle is gone.
- Fragrance oils crafted in Grasse, France: hand-poured in small batches in the United States.
- 60-hour burn time: soy wax, free of sulfates and phthalates, vegan and cruelty-free.

THE BRAND
Nomad Noé was founded by two New Yorkers who spent the first decades of their lives living and working across the world. Each candle is conceived as an olfactive portrait of a place — a specific city, a specific moment, a specific feeling that belongs to it. The fragrances are developed with oils crafted in Grasse, France, and hand-poured in small batches in the United States. The result is a collection that moves between continents and eras without losing its sense of place.
