A wooden notepad made from shaved sheets of Japanese red pine. Kizara memo pads are made by shaving individual sheets of paper from a single block of Japanese Red Pine. Each block is sourced through surplus tree thinning, an ecological process that promotes healthy, sustainable forestry in Japan. No two sheets are the same, making every note a unique memento.
Choose between two types:
Small: Height: 3", Width: 4.5", approximately 40 sheets
Medium: Height: 4", Width: 6", approximately 50 sheets
Care: Keep in a cool, dry place. Pages may warp slightly if exposed to humidity.

THE BRAND
The Kizara Project utilizes excess wood from sustainable, human-grown Japanese red pine to create one-of-a-kind stationery. The group's eco-conscious process sources trees from local woodlands that are thinned as part of healthy forestry practices.
By creating a wood product from a constantly renewed resource, Kizara supports the growth of national industry and the trees on which that industry—and the world at large—depends. This demonstrates how conscious design can have a positive impact on our environment.
