The process for combining metallic copper and zinc to make brass was patented in England in 1781, but brass has existed since around 500 B.C. Popular with the Romans for dress armor, jewelry, and coins, brass represents value and refinement. Formed from a single sheet, the Brass Rectangle Tray is a refined way to serve food or present items in an elevated way.
The brass scoop is not coming with the tray.
Note: Due to the characteristics of the material, there are blue-green rusts such as darkening and patina. The surface of brass oxidizes due to use and aging, and the color and texture change.
