Nature First has uniquely concentrated and formulated the soap berry's highly-functional botanical saponin surfactants into ONE effective, economic, convenient, stain-removing-fabric-softening laundry detergent pod that is completely safe for our bodies, water, and ecosystems. The laundry solution washes fabric and sanitizes the laundry drum, too, leaving no residue on washing machines, linens, and skin or in the water, soil, and air.

DIRECTIONS
For both front- and top-loading conventional and HE-compatible washing machines: place one pod into your washing machine drum (not dispenser), then add laundry. For larger or heavily soiled loads, use two pods. Follow garment care instructions for water temperature. For best results, do not overstuff your machine. This can throw off your water-to-clothes ratio and make it difficult to properly clean garments. Take care to reseal your compostable bag after each use. Store in a cool, dry area away from high humidity and excessive moisture. Optimal temperature range 40-76°F (4-24°C).
Cautions: Eye irritant. Avoid eye contact. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not unwrap or handle pods with wet hands. As with any cleaning products, if ingested, seek medical assistance.
THE BRAND
Justine & Noel encountered Mother Nature’s soap - the soapberry - completely by happenstance. They were in India, natural-dying organic linens for their ecological design company, Aiure, and hunting for a detergent that would not degenerate the plant-essence or quality of the linens. That’s when they learned about the soapberry, an age-old solution still used in rural communities for cleaning just about everything. They took them home and turned their kitchens and bathrooms into laboratories. They hand - and machine-washed every fabric they could find: delicates, cashmere, turmeric-stained dish towels, carpets (...!). The results were remarkable - stains, marks, dirt and odors all disappeared without any color fading, skin sensitivity, or use of artificial chemicals. The fabrics were fresh, fluffy, and clean. They even had the natural scent of having been line-dried! All this with no residue is left on fabrics, skin, or flushed into the environment after washing. Eager to make soapberries available and convenient for homecare, they assembled a team with 20+ years of experience with the berries to produce their innovative home-cleaning collection, Nature First by Aiure. Ironically, packaging their products has been the most challenging part of their business so far as they are committed to using materials that - like soapberries - leave no trace.
