The kokeshi cat doll or Nekokeshi is handmade in Japan. These cute, cat-shaped kokeshi dolls fit in the palm of your hand. The grain of the wood differs from one doll to another. All of the carving and painting is done by hand.
The texture of the cypress (hinoki) material can be felt since no protective coating is
applied. The paints are water-soluble pigments, which are also safe for the
environment. Use it as a lucky charm, decoration, or as an air freshener for your bag or drawers. #seriouslykawaii
Please note rubbing the painted part strongly may cause color transfer.
